The main advantage for me is that now I have an autoresponder doing the work that I used to think I had time to do with Contact mate. That is the most advantageous part of the deal for me. Working a fulltime job makes it difficult to run Contact mate sometimes simply because it's not a plug and play program. It takes time to get it and keep it running even though it works well when it runs.

I look at it this way. A lead is a lead is a lead. Whether you are talented enough to generate them online yourself or have to pay someone to help generate them or you. What matters is what you do when you get them on the phone. Fun Time Vacation Club is a no brainer. At the top level its $299 for 40,000 leads, a b/o with an autoresponder and the ability to market travel vouchers for profit or as incentives. The lowest level in FTV is the basic level and that cost about $40 a month. Just about anyone can afford that. But again it comes down to what you say to the person when you get them on the phone. I get the person on the phone and just share my information. It's that simple.

For the past months ive been able to generate my own leads as I have started making lead capture pages. But I still like the fact FTV gives me 40,000 leads a month. I usually get from 15 to 20 opt ins a day. Now as I see it everyone is interested in travel so these are great leads. But again I think its important to be diversified and learn how to generate your own leads as well. The leads ive been generating have been calling me and thats always best.

How am I finding them you ask. Its been my capture pages. I learned alot from watching other leaders in here. They have had these pages out there forever. Look at it this way. When someone just goes to your site there is no way to capture their info even if they are on the site for hours. With the capture pages I can have their info and then direct them to my website. It works for me. In the last few days ive been sending out capture pages of specials to my opt-ins via email. I will even be sending them capture pages that direct them to a page where they can buy the specials on the spot. I will be sure to keep everyone up to date on this.

Noreen,
That's a lot of leads, are the 40,000 leads generic bizop?

What will be interesting is the conversion rate of the optin's.

Interesting, so the prospect (optin) is than switched from Coastal to FunTime bizop?

Is the lead generation splash page generic? And does it offer the "complimentary vacation" to respond?

Terri,

Yes, they are generic bizop leads. Conversion rate will be interesting and of course critical. But we have found so far with people that we have called, they are open and interested. Of course, it helps that they are in the autoresponder and are receiving information. Since some of them may not ever have even heard about Coastal, they may have to warm up to the idea.

The first email they get is completely generic. But you can edit to say whatever you want it to say. I am just using their generic email, but I will probably tweak it a bit. But I don't want to change anything now that the darn thing is finally working!!

Hey Terri,

Thanks for the questions. Let me see if I can explain the system and how it works. First I receive 40,000 leads imported into my FTV back office. They are then started in the auto responder system. This system has two parts. The before and the after we will call them. The before campaign can either me a generic biz opt campaign or a FTV campaign. Both work for me as I look at it this way. The generic allows you to call people and market any biz opt. You can offer a vacation voucher as an incentive to get them to your site. I see on your WCYS site you do that with offering a vacation voucher. So the system and process is similar. The FTV campaign is for a free membership to the FTV travel club. This just means they can get deals on travel is all. It also talks about a few specials that are going one ( 16 yr anniversary special 13 days in florida and bahamas for 2 people for $498) . The after campaign can be specific to many different biz opts. Coastal being one of them. So the leads become more qualified as time goes on and they receive the a/r campaigns. I look at it this way. A lead is a lead is a lead. Once I get them on the phone I offer them the free membership to look at my Coastal opt page. If Coastal is too pricey for them them I have FTV and Inteletravel as back up programs.

I hope that helps but if you are more confused then just IM or call me and ill go over it.

If you want to do a fundraiser or a customer appreciation day with a client Fun Time Vacations is a very viable option. Many of the vacation certs are booked in house so you never have to worry about blackout dates or long processing times. In addition you also make a commission as the participants activate

Adam,

What vacations would you use for fundraisers and silent auctions? Or anyone else want to throw some ideas around? I have a football fundraiser and a soccer fundraiser coming up and and can probably use a number of vacations in raffles and silent auctions.

Update on Funtime Autoresponder. The leads are turning out to be responsive. I haven't called any of the new batch yet but I will tonight since the wife and kids are at the beach so me and the Jack Russel Terrior are gonna be on the phone tonight but I have actually gotten 3 callback requests from the leads that are clicking the link so if I can get at least one or two conversions from these leads a month then I will be happy. I'll keep everyone updated.

I love my 40,000 leads a month -- even more after tonight's call. I just sent my 200000+ leads an e-mail telling them to be sure to be on next Thursday night's call. Rusty just introduced a new leads program that is going to change my life! I am excited about how all of this is unfolding. Be sure to get on the call next Thursday night (I hope it can hold us all). They will be revealing all the rest of the details of this new program that will bring ALL of the calls to you -- that's right, your phone will be ringing with PREMIUM leads. I can't wait!

Hi Noreen,

My bus partner and I are using a Hawaii +guar airfare, St Thomas +gur airfare, 3 - theme park getaways (because there are local ones), and 2 condo cards for a 500 ticket raffle. They have been HUGE. The organizations are excited to pay us big bucks so they can make even bigger bucks!

They introduced a new leads program. You don't pay for individual leads and they leads call you! They will be rolling this out in the next week or so. When you log into the system they guarantee you will start receiving calls from premium leads and that at a the very minimum, 15 minutes after you hang up with one lead another will call (could be immediate). As long as you are logged in, the calls continue as long as it is in the legal hours of calling (ends at 9:00 pm in all time zones).

These leads are premium opt-in leads. Fun Time has partnered up with a major speed dialer in the industry who makes the initial contact. The message they receive is personal from you. The lead chooses to connect to you after receiving your message. You give them a free e-certificate vacation just for taking your call.

There will be no more answering machines, no more phone calls for you to make from your home. Just pick up your phone and talk to a live person on the other end.

On top of great leads, this program also pays referral commissions like Fun Times other programs. It pays out six levels!

There are no details right now of what the payout for the levels is or what the cost is, but is promised to be ultra affordable.

This leads program is outstanding!

Hey Terri,

The call is @ 9pm est on tuesday and thuirsday night. Rusty does a good job of telling about the program. I like the fact they there are many options available. You can call leads with your 40k or follow up with the ones that go thru the auto responder series and now you can have leads call you. Im excited to take a look at this new program as I was lookinginto auto dialers myself. I cant wait to see what features it has. I think that having a dialer system to especially market vacations is a great idea. As I take a look at this product ill keep everyone informed.

OK, folks, I listened to the call and I must say that it isn't for me. Here is why. I work a fulltime job and I cannot take calls during the day and I can't come home and sit by the phone waiting for it to ring simply because I have 3 young children. For some it will be WONDERFUL because the are already stay at home moms or dads but for me and my system it doesn't seem like a good fit.

The most disappointing thing that I heard is that this will most likely replace the autoresponder system that was in place and when it was working it did a REALLY GOOD JOB of getting leads into our WeCloseYourSales back office. They didn't say 100% for sure that they were totally discontinuing the Autoresponder system but it sounded like they probably would. I would gladly stay in Funtime if they will keep the autoresponder going but it they do away with it then there is reall no reason for me and most of my Coastal team to stay with it. The autoresponder was the MAIN attraction for us so if it is gone then we probably are also. I hope they will decide to keep it for us who can't just sit by the phone and wait for it to ring.

My wife and I listened to the call as well, we joined FTV because of all the hype of 40,000 leads and the novelty of the redirect/propogation feature into our Coastal (WCYS) site. We have been with FTV for almost 2 months and during that time the Autoresponder that was so highly talked about was shut down more time than it was running due to one problem or another. Now for those Super Elite Members already paying $299 per month can pay an additional $89 dollars per month to have the new "phone marketing system", and its entirely possible that they will be shutting down the Autoresponder along the way. The reason we joined FTV was to get off the phone not onto it more. WCYS has a call center that does the selling/talking for us allowing us to focus our attention on marketing new prospects. Realistically one can purchase the same 40,000 biz opt leads for about $80 and can buy Contacttalk for less than $500. Total cost for the year $1460 AND get a LIFETIME Level 1 Membership with Coastal Vacations and LIFETIME use of the Coastal Sales Center for a grand total of $3455. Thats $130 dollars less than the cost of FTV Super Elite for only 1 year ( and that doesn't include the new incoming phone feature that costs even more!!) Contacttalks' technology provides both voice messages as well as email that can be grouped together into a campaign that takes the autoresponder to an all new level. It becomes simple math, presently with FTV you pay $299 per month, thats $3588 per year!! (and if history is any indication it wasn't working more than it was) or....You can join Coastal for $1295/($1995 with the Call Center to do all the selling for you) , pick up Contacttalk (which is a one time purchase and can be used to help your new members get started by doing some marketing for them) AND buy over half a million leads for the same cost as 1 year with FTV at their Super Elite Level. Thats what I call a no brainer. I am not a salesman for Contacttalk but when you find something that REALLY works you want to share it with associates, new and old. I am not including a website because this post was not for solicitation purposes simply educational. If you would like more insight into my thoughts feel free to send me a PM and I will gladly reply.

The only positive aspect to their new system (in my opinion) is getting unlimited vouchers. I haven't really used the vouchers yet, but it seems like you print them out in bulk and set them around town or put them on the counters of businesses, give them to business owners as incentives for their customers etc. What do you all think about that?

(Funtime is completely leaving out a huge portion of the work-at-home population with their new program. Most cannot be home sitting by the phone all day. I do this for the flexibility it offers...that is completely gone with their new system - at least until you can turn the system on and off yourself.)

I concur with what most of you are saying except that Rusty said the calls could be sent to ANY phone number, what about sending the caller to the call center at WCYS?

BUT if I were paying $299 right now at the moment and NOT getting what I paid for, I would be upset. I assume from what I heard last night is that you current Elites are not getting autoresponder now and won't have the call feature system for two more weeks.

From what I heard the autoresponder was disconnected already.

The other thing I heard that was disturbing was that soon there will be NEW regs surrounding bulk emailing did anyone else hear about that and how very soon , none of us will be able to bulk email??

Terri

OH and BTW, since WCYS was mentioned I just found out that when the autoresponder sends out emails to your optins your HOME ADDRESS is sent to the optin at the bottom of the email so I went in to change it in "my acct" and it would not accept a PO box address, I did notify support, I do NOT want my home address given out do you?

Terri, no, I don't like my home address given out but I believe it is part of the canspam act - it requires a confirmed address of some sort on the bottom of the email. They generally won't accept a PO box. If you can get a business address on there - it is better, but most of us don't have business addresses...

Terri,
I talked to Jeff about this last night. He asked the same question to me. He asked me why not have the calls go straight to the call center. I explained that these leads are no where near the quality we want calling the call center. They know nothing about the call center itself because they are basically just email bizzop leads. It's good when they take the initiative to hit the 1 button to talk to someone but we want the most qualified lead we can get calling in to the call center and that means someone who already knows the startup costs and these Funtime leads won't even know what company you are with when they hit that button to talk to you.

Plus...how would they get our ID# for the call center?

Maybe they will actually keep the autoresponder. I would have to think that a large percentage of people do not want to be tied to their phone all day...not to mention having to pay an additional $89 a month for this.

(I'm trying to stay calm and rational but I can't get over the feeling of being lied to all these weeks when the system wasn't working for me. I truly don't believe they had any intention of fixing it...just taking my money.)
