What's the confusion?
It's free. I thougt there surely must be a catch and as I went trough the sign-up process, I kept looking for the catch. I never did find the catch.
If can sign up under a sponser intead of a recruiter, it will be great.
What's the difference?
A sponser helps you to grow and be successful. A recruiter just signs you up and leaves you all to yourself.
Now, this business is great. I've been looking for something like this for many years.
And, it's honest and ethical.
Just where is the big growth? Online of course!!! And more and more people are shopping online nowadays.
This is absulutley free and there is nothing required to join. There is free training.
Wondering where you make your money? The stores in your mall pay a rebate for every single purchase made in your mall from you and from others. The stores are saving tons on advertising and therefore, can pay the rabate fo the purchases from your mall.
6.5% of Corporate profits go to help children of the world who really need the help.
What's the question?
Oh, I almost forgot. When I was researching this company, I checked it out at the Better Business Bureau. Do you know how many complaints the BBB has registered for this company? 0...yes, that's ZERO.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
Sincerely,
Mike Pressnll

Welcome to the thread Mike
You made an excellent point in your post-find a sponsor ,not a recruiter.
Yes there is a world of dfifference between the two.
You want someone who will help show you the ropes, give advice and is ready to share ideas with you.
I can't understand why 'recruiters' wouldn't want to take this approach.
Yes they are bringing in the huge numbers, but they love you and are so responsive until you sign and its off on the hunt again.
Yes,they are building deep and wide faster ,but ask yourslef, how strong is that huge team?
I am betting not very.
I prefer the sponsor/mentor approach to my businesses,I wouldn't do it any other way.

I agree that sponsor is more preferred than recruiter, but then again because this program offers so much training and tools to you via e-mails. Most everything is for free. It is almost like you don't need sponsor to help you once you are in the system. Except may be some inspiration to increase your drive to success.

I am keeping myself motivated every day to help me going and work on it. Come to read on this forum keeps me motivated too.

Thanks all.

Cybermommy,

Since you are outside USA, let me ask you this.

Do you have enough merchants on MPM to shop from and mail products to you in Italy, so your team can benefit from their own shopping? Or you have to aim for people to spread the word back to US customers and then benefit from shopping generated in USA market?

Thanks.

Yes I have a good selection of store open to me, (there are quite a lrger number of stores that ship worldwide)I must admit I often check what is available to you guys in the US and feel a little jealous. But I also have the option of using a mail forwarding service if I want too for an extra cost, but I haven't had the need to yet.
Also Ginny is working on bringing in the international companies(mostly concentrated in UK and Australia) this will open up a lot more options for international MPM members.
The second part of your question :Most of my team members are in the USA.
I have targeted there with my advertising for obvious reasons!!
That said,I do get some international members who are taking the same approach I do.
It obviously makes more sense to have more US based members under you as this is where the bulk of the spending will be.
It will get larger worldwide but for now is mainly concentrated in the US.
I would say 80% of my team mebers are in the US.
I encourage my international members to use their mall for purchases that do make sense financially(taking into account shipping costs, some aren't so bad) and of course if it is items unavailable to them in their home country that the US provides.

Welcome to the thread Yavenay
Yes you are right ,it's anumbers game.
So build wide,wide ,wide!
You will find you have those 'builders and leaders' emerging as you build and with encouragement from you will in turn begin to build their teams.
It isn't an overnight thing, plug away daily, without fail and you will see it starts to take on a life of its own

Hi Newbie.
I have 14 in my frontline and only 2 in my downline. How do you motivate your team? I send them welcome emails, I remind them of the incentives and they just don't seem to have the same enthusiam as I do. Only two of my signups are people I personally know, the rest I guess sign up through the ads I posted. Anyway I think powermall is definitely going is the best online business going. I guess I get more on my frontline. It's definitely a numbers game.

Hi yavenay,

I'm done promoting MPM and my frontline seems to be done asking questions for the most part. I am just on auto-pilot. You have a good-sized frontline, especially for being in for a short time.

I wouldn't want anything from my sponsor so I don't send my frontline anything. All I sent them was a greeting when they first joined and I told them to ask me questions and to be there for their own frontlines. That's all.

It's still building itself. I haven't checked for a few days but I have nearly 60 in my downline. I joined a little over a month ago, so I would say I am doing all right.

Hang in there until you can get 2-3 people that are building their downline.

It does require patience and you do find that some members do not all have the same detirmination and pro-activeness as you.By the same token you also find that you have some members who do and when they begin to build their teams and show their teams how to do the same, its great.
I think the matter of spending is a vital one.
If we all sit back and not spend ,just bringing in members hoping they will spend and earn our rebates then we are doomed. What if all members took that approach?
I share your frustrations Yavenay!
However I think there will be some tweaking to come.
Those that received the 10+ members letter, which Ginny refferred to in her update last week, shows that something will be done.
Everyone has to shop within their mall to generate income.
Hopefully we will get those non-active members moving
You will find a mixture of members on your team, some seem to sign and do nothing, whilst others(like my latest member)join, bring in members straight away and shop within hours of joining!
Those members I love

Hi halfro You will find people(quite a few actually!)who think there must be a catch, that it is too good to be true...
Its just a case of plugging away and discovering those people who do share your vision and see the huge potential here.
I am seeing so many more MPM members on various forums now,so the word is spreading.
We are all here with this in its infancy,I believe MPM will become a household name,it appeals to so many.
Yes keep at it-you will find those people!!
Daily advertising, forums, blogs, social networking, there is so many ways to get it out there!
Don't lose faith

Hi

I have MPM.. though I am still not seeing the level of success that some are.. have to say I cant ever get any feedback from the person I signed up with.. I know there are daily updates..and I get them on my desktop... Still not too sure what to do with it??? Am I just thick about this?

I've said this before... but not being in the US does make a difference... as I wouldnt buy from any of the shops myself..as it wouldnt make sense living in the uk.. unless they start a MPM UK..

I do hope this is in their plans?

I will keep doing free advertising.. wont spend anything but time on it though...

I havent given up as I know there are others not in the US who are finding success with MPM

Hi Southbank
I am in Italy and soon going back home to the UK and I am doing well building my team.
I have targeted the US market mainly as far as my advertising goes and would say 80% of my members are based there.
Ginny does state in her training letters that this is a good option for international members who want to build their MPM businesses.

I have been in touch with Ginny in the last few days via email.
I was enquiring about international stores coming onboard.
And they are!
the 2 major affliate networks that represent our stores are also in a number of countries including Australia,Sweden and the UK.
So international stores based in these countries is what is being worked out.
Members throughout Europe will be able to cut their shipping costs considerably getting their products via the UK.
They are coming for sure,we are just waiting for all paperwork and negotiations to be finalised.
I have not spent a penny/cent in advertising, all free methods, and kept up promoting daily.
hth

Naww...its not too far, just in bear, delaware in the US! Besides, who cares about work! We are members of MPM now, we are our own bosses!

Think positive, it could really happen.

Hey I wanna come too

Yes we have already made the first steps, ita a matter now of keeping up the momentum and positivity.
So many people start off with that elated feeling ,new business, full of dreams etc.
A few weeks later those same people realise it in fact takes effort(lots!),vision(equally lots!) and sheer mindedness.
It can be done.
MPM is going to be a household name-I can feel it.
With prices rising everywhere people are going to want to save and earn from what they already buy.
And I agree with you Yavenay, the planet is huge,so need to fear over saturation with MPM!
Thousands are online everyday looking for home businesses,it's up to us to find them!!

Congrtas Yavenay!19 in 3 weeks! You are moving fast!

Is everyone up for the new contest?I can't wait-in fact already busy advertising lol
But with the extra challenge of getting them to spend $50 in their mall first month as well!
This should be interesting
I am trying to convert the Italians to this-and it is fun.
So so many questions, they haven't seen anything like it!

Love reading this stuff......

Almost ready to jump in but was wondering how everyone is doing (honestly). Although this is not a 'overnight' thing, it will take a few months to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I try to explain the concept to folks I deal with everyday and a lot of times, they shrug their shoulders and say ' Oh! Another pyramid scheme' . Confidence in myself may be the only thing holding me back.

How did you all find the link to Powermall when you were looking the first time.? Was it someone you knew or was it Ginny's site directly or was it from a WAH forum?

You all are great and I love ready the success stories.

Any help would be great!

With each new sign up I stay motivated. I am now up to 25 and these sign ups are through my downline. I am in the for the long haul. I've already decided that I would give this my best shot for at least one year. That means doing something everyday to promote my site.

I really believe in this more than any other home-based business and when I believe in something I throw my all into it. I know there are gonna be times when no matter what I do, I cant get any sign ups and those are the times when I will have to push myself a little harder then when people are signing up.

This is a business to me so I treat it as such. I email and answer my downline's questions, if I don't know the answer I point them in the right direction. You only get out of it what you put in it.

I think that MPM is fantastic, as so many have said with every new sign up in your downline gives you more determination. The MPM forum is realy great with a lot of good information. Best of all this forum is great too. A lot of dedicated members here to help each other with great advice. I find the MPM real great because when you think about it, its totaly FREE. Now thats great especialy for a lot members who have paid good money for nothing.

This business model is also excellent for NPO's and is an excellent route to go down.
There are huge benefits to the NPO who are able to raise much needed funds through MPM.
And it benefits you as you have the potential of having various organisations under you.
The one-child-at-a-time charity that MPM supports is also a big plus with this company.
6% of all corporate profits go to them.

Hello everyone, my first post

I'm a 39 year old stay at home dad of 3 young boys (ages 6, 4, and 2). This is the first time since I was 15 that I'm not punching a time clock and going to work every morning. They take up a lot of my time, but there is some time left in the day to try and make some money on the side, and this really looks like a good possibility for someone in my position. My biggest challenge I think is going to be finding places to post that link. Almost all of my promotion will have to be online.

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and say hello, and thank everyone for a really informative thread!

Hi Limelight 4 ,
Well you jumped in with us-welcome to MPM!
You hit the nail on the head,it isn't overnight. This will take vision,self-belief and effort, but I and many many MPM'ers know we have something very special here
Throw all the ingredients of MPM into the mix and there is nothing out there quite like us.
Who doesn't shop?
Who doesn't like to save money when they shop?
Who wants to put in some effort to be financially free?
I see a lot of hands up

MPM is making strides. We have a new marketing director~Brad Gerver.
I am sure most of the MPM'ers here are familiar with Brad, his posts and input to MPM is fantastic.
His energy really shines through,he will do great things for us all.
One of his goals is to get those all-important grocery stores onboard with us.
I cannot wait for the announcement that they have signed and are on!

Well now I cannot contain myself after Ginnys Update yesterday.
What is the big suprise she has in store and something huge for International members?!
I received some emails from Ginny last week and she said she was about to reveal something to us that would blow our socks off.
I am beside myself now.
No more coffee for me today!lol
I have a feeling International stores are almost ready-I hope so!
I think there may be also a charitable topic that she will be revaeling given that she was brought to tears along with the whole of T-12?
I am just posting my guesses here, but its a feeling.
I cannot wait for the next update.
How are people doing with the new contest?

I'm in IT also but this kind of thing is NOT very good for the ones trying to push their site/link to others and when they get there, 'SERVICE UNAVAILABLE' shows up.

Doesn't look good....
