Is there any advice you can give me. I am thinking of joining liberty league. I'm just afraid of getting ripped off. I joind a company about a year ago and everything seemed perfect but once I gave them the $200 they said I can't make any money until I get my license.

I would not join Liberty League unless you are a master on the phone. It is hard sledding for most people and the product is one filled with buyers remorse. So many other companies have better opportunities with real stand alone products.

To make money in this industry you need a product that is stand alone that has a high profit margin and a high ROI, that saves the customer money over long term use. YOu need systems in place that help you weed out tire kickers. Withouth liberty league that is over the phone and makes it very difficult.

Okay, question: I love that LL's/WealthTheory/Classical music number page.

Can I join LL at the associate level, and just start off promoting using it...or do they require/demand that I spend more money first--I guess to prove myself or something?

Its a myth that you have to do all your sorting on the phone with
LLI... or any business of this nature for that matter.

There are basically Three models going on the internet today for promoting direct sales programs like LLI, GRN, etc...

1) the funded proposal - that is its a lead-capture page that tries to sell a "product" for $50.oo or so to prove that the prospect "is serious"... after that he or she can look at the opportunity. It goes without saying that you can lose a lot of money on advertising and drive away a lot of quailified people who don't appreciate such tactics. There ARE other, softer ways to use a funded proposal.

2) generalized lead generation - with this sort of approach all advertising presents only benefits and encourages people to request a call. Costs of getting started are generally downplayed but potential profits are sometimes mentioned. With this approach you DO have to follow-up, call folks up and cherry-pick the ones you want to work with. Its not a big deal if you set up your advertising to target the right general groups of people.

3) Transparent Automation - this approach is one where traffic is driven to an automated business opportunity presentation. I have seen this done with LLI, generally with imbedded audio. With most of the income opportunities out there doing this, from GDI and MyPowerMall to Jaguar Marketing System , there are one or more flash movies, textual content, and an opportunity to enroll on the spot or request a call-back for more information.

In a nutshell:
1. "You Pay us to Prove you are a serious prospect with money to spend"
2. "Here are some benefits and if you like them request a call and we'll talk and see if we want to work together"
3. "We'll lay it all out for you on our website - that way we are on the same page from the beginning and you know what the business costs."

None of these approaches are inherently superior or more profitable, they just involve different areas of skill development.

You aren't going to get anywhere with newspaper advertising unless you use approach #2. A variation of approach #1 is to sell a general "Failing in MLM?" type info-product and use that as a gateway to a relationship with the prospect. There are a few of these going around on the internet these days.

I have mostly used approach #2 and #3. #2 is perhaps better suited to PayPerClick and other paid advertising methods. #3 works well with a Search Engine Optimized approach (any area where I have put great effort to master) and effective email marketing.

Hope this clarifies.

I won't argue that you need to be able to work on the phone to succeed with LLI... so if your English is badly broken that could be a problem for you. On the other hand there are successful people in LLI who stutter, so even those with speach impediments can do well if they decide they want to.

Kissmylayoff,

yes, you may join LLI at the associate level and there is no product purchase required. Although it is very natural to understand that the most successful people in LLI, and in Any business whatsoever, are a product of their own product.

The other thing that will happen is the duplication from your associates. In my 6 yrs of experience in Network Marketing, I have noticed that the new associates will look up to you and will do pretty much what you will do most of the time.
But no product purchase is required.

I hope that assisted you!

Yes you are correct this is a business of ATTRACTION people will do what you did. I think it is very important to find a product to market that is a stand alone product. That is the key to be successful. Will that product sell without an oppty attached to it. Or are you just selling hype? Once I learned that I learned how to be very successful in this industry.

That's a very good point GRNWealth. The product has to be something you believe in and can stand behind of.

Also attached to a great product has to be a compensation plan that rewards big thinkers and can put money in your pocket quickly.

Hi! I have personally joined Liberty League in 2007 and
I have achieved great results with this business. I have made in a few weeks what the average american makes in a year. Liberty League has a support system like no other. The products and the opportunity are quite easy to market. But I take my business very seriously . I am commited to achieve excellence in my service to others that come in. My focus now is help other people achieve the same level of growth and success that I have had.
I have people in my team that invested very little money when they started. I hope this answer assist you on your road to success
Take Care
Elena

Hi I am just new to the site and have been standing in the corner here watching and reading.
I have decided to join Liberty League. I realise it is a direct marketing business not an MLM therefore I will not be leveraging off my recruiters sales, but that is what I want. I want something that I can work at, I am not wanting to sit on my chuff and pray the money comes in. But I have listened to MalibuMentor and it sounds as tho' I will need to learn a lot about internet marketing and lead generation. MalibuMentor, do you have a suggestion on where I should focus my efforts and what would enhance my efforts in LLI in this regard, especially in the beginning stages?

I applaud Liberty League for being around for so long. They still have flocks that go to their conferences. The key though to earning big money there is to really become a master lead generator, prospector, and closer. It is so much phone work and a tough high ticket sale for some. But if your a summit advisor you can cash in big. Just dont expect a lot of duplication there as too many people give up and quit before the learning curve is over.

Hi Tigg,

I'd advise you to just call me at 310-359-8494.

Some folks get blindsided by the costs of using pay-as-you-go
advertising methods. While you should buy advertising
you also should learn how to do effective "sweat equity"
promotion.

Some of the big success stories with these programs came
from corporate backgrounds and had a big nest egg of cash
to pump into marketing, they had connections and knew
the ropes of advertising too.

I didn't when I started out. I was a working-class guy, a
carpenter. I got crucified with several early advertising efforts
and I was in danger of losing my shirt and wrecking my credit.

I saved myself from failing by learning how to market effectively
online. Don't fall for the myth that you can sit on your ass and
place a few free ads and make a lot of money online though -
you need a lot of traffic to get quality leads and furthermore
it helps to have sizzling copywriting on your lead-capture pages,
something I've learned how to write through experience and
hard work.

Promoting exclusively online is short-sighted though... you should
be driving traffic to your website via off-line marketing methods
as well.

Malibumentor, you are correct. Alot of newbies are being mislead into thinking that they can make the big bucks with minimal marketing budgets. It's just not possible. However, I do know that you can make a substantial amount of money with free advertising, paid advertising when done properly is much more profitable. I myself, am a big fan of offline advertising and voice broadcasting.

When you do, you can buy it with a 2 week money back guarantee anyway. Or of course you can often buy it on Ebay for $10 or $20 to see what it's like anyway. (What does that tell you about it?)

I was a Summit Advisor with Liberty League a long time ago. The reason I moved on was product based. I need to market products that have a lot more mass appeal and have higher benefits than the BF product did.

Since then I have learned a lot and have made great money the past five years. I now have 4 different cash flow streams as I understand different strokes for different folks. Each lead I speak with I match them with what I feel would be the best business for them. Works like a charm.

I use Ibuzz Pro as a lead generation tool. I probably am 50% voicebroadcasting and 50% online advertising. There are many better businesses out there than LLI. Find your passion and go for it!

You are so correct on that one many of these programs don't offer a product that the everyday consumer would have any interest in, However I have found a program called Passport to Prosperity & I think they offer so much more than LLI as they promote a whole multimedia product suite. The suit consist of 9 courses which includes things like personal development for kids, Forex & even managing your money better & in today's world who doesn't want to handle their money more efficiently.

Currently Lifepath Unlimited proves to be the pinnacle of the big Ticket item business model. However I chant for more clarity and descriptive information about the product, from Discovery all the way up to Dynasty. I have worked with many distributors to get started on their business and the question remains the same. How do I truly direct sale the product. Well Lifepath Unlimited & Co need to be able to answer this question immediately as the product is truly incredible and its benefits must lead the way in aggregating prospects, customers and establishing Lifepath Unlimited as the model of the future.

I believe with respect to Liberty league, Wealth Masters, and EPI, that though all provide a unique product. Lifepath seems to be the new flavor of the year. But in order to continue with continuity, and provide success not limited to the few but available to all, that Lifepath has to turn their focus on re-training and certification. This should include product competence, and business building skills.

All over the net you hear LPU is not a scam, or Liberty League is a scam, or We are better than them, yada yada. I am not affiliated with any one company, but just by the business practice alone I feel they are all in the same, unless one truly steps out and offers transparency with a true product review......Or is that the affiliate responsibility ?

Hmmmmmm we shall see

I actually looked at liberty league pretty in depth before I passed and went with another company. I agreee with an earlier post that the products just did not match up to some of the competition out there and I did not feel as if the traingin and mentorship was there. There are compensation plans out there that promote trainng and mentoring your downline, and I went with one of those.

Wow, now that has me CONFUSED... I recently got made redundant and have a smallish payout which will last me about 6 weeks... I have been considering LLI through a friend and I guess I need an honest answer about whether I should pursue this avenue ... sick of the corporate world and would like to do something just for ME..
