Well, I tried a forum boosting program. I never got a response from it. I posted my butt off to get a response. They payed like .10 each post. I could deal with that to make extra money but they fact is, someone suggested it and I went and wasted my time there. So as a warning, some forum boosting programs are a waste of time. You sign up and get nothing. I won't pst the name of the forum booster program I tried.

Thanks for sharing the info Looking! Being specific about the company you got associated with would have been appreciated. I think there might be some good and ethical models there and it may not be fair to put the blame on everyone.
Anybody with a positive experience?

What is forum boosting exactly and how might it be useful?

I'm not sure what the process is exactly termed as but what Looking referring to was companies that hire people to post to forums.
There are certain companies that hire people, for a fee, to post to forums. Their services are used by new and struggling forums to give an impression that the forum is busy and alive.

I found the ad for it in a work at home list. I know it was like forumboosters or something llike that. It's not forumbooster.net. I tried looking for the ad again but it was removed.

There are many of these types of jobs being listed on freelancing sites as well. I think however, that as long as the person doing the posting either has used the product/service and feels it offers something positive, that it's okay.
But posting for the purpose of being deceitful or lying about the benefit or action of a product or service is wrong. But that's just me.

Yeah I found the ad on a freelancing site it. I can't find the ad again though. They must of been reported.

If you can spend the time posting, learn your stuff, promote some solid affiliate program in your sig line, and assist people to learn internet marketing. You will get traffic, leads and sales from this kind of generous, informative posting.
Content is King today in Ineternet marketing. Content attracts search engines and readers alike. Produce quality content and make money.
Simple.

Paid Forum Posting is a reliable forum boosting site. I have worked for them and recieved prompt payout as soon as I met the min $10 and requested it - usually with a 24-48 hr turnaraound on payout to paypal ( the only way they pay). Typical pay is 10-15cents a post.

Before working for forum posting company, check their payment record at various forums. The higher their minimum payout, the less likely you are to get paid.

Only problem is that this will lead to many forums disabling being able to post live urls. Also forum users may also become frustrated at replying to the post for more information only to find they were posting on behalf of a third party and don't have any. Pretty close to spamming
in my opinion. I also believe this will one day influence search engines to change thier linking equations to dampen any links from forums due to this practise growing quickly.
Not very many sites have a guestbook these days for exactly these reasons.
