No, I'm not attacking you because you don't think the way I think. But the hype and spin you and others are putting on this company is just not good.
Listen....I really hope this happens, I really do.
Why?
Because it will be good for the industry of network marketing.
The worst thing that can happen is for GV to not pan out with this technology and follow the path of all of the previous companies this management has had.
But it does not look promising. And having the hype and spin that is constantly going around this is hurting people, leading people down a bad path....
My opinion: Until the company comes out with a product, they should consider freezing taking in any more reps. Sure, I know they have other products, but I think Len Clements put it best in his most recent podcast (anyone looking into GV should go listen to it at http://www.marketwaveinc.com.
And again, Cynthia, I do hope it works out.
Because if it doesn't, it is just another black eye for network marketing.

Brent,
There is enough business for everyone, so there is no need to bash another company without knowing the first hand information, just second hand opinions, and there will be plenty of them as this is an industry changer.
So much has been said, and it was stated from start it was a controlled rollout to e-associates only, not retail or to general public. They expected problems, but with 30K registering in June alone, it broke their back, a nice problem to have, but one that has caused concerns, including mine since I ordered service and I have been waiting on this technology for years, with many promises of new wireless, yet none have delivered.
Will Buzzirk Zero1 and GlobalVerge be the one, it sure sounds like it, but when is the question, and if it is next month, or a few months, I don't care, as long as it is real, and with all the misinformation floating about and the competition bashing at every chance, it just makes the whole industry look bad. Spreading bad news is easy, yet whatever your motivation, it makes you look like a bottom feeder, just hoping a company fails so you can pick up the pieces, and most can see through it like Cyntihia did.
Simply put, I have been in the industry since start, as a reseller, and I have seen it all. All I am seeing is misinformation and speculation to date. Much of it already debunked, so I for one will not bash the competition and wait for my phone to decide if service is superior to competition. All I know is all the rest stink in my area, including my broadband connection speeds, so time will tell, but take it from me, spreading rumors and second hand dirt serves no one. Good luck with your deal as well.
Success to all,

And here are just a few of the sources I've read about (honestly, I'm a computer guy, so the technology sounds great. But what I've turned up in research and the hype that has surrounded this is what is causing me to raise concerns....as well as seeing one person I personally know lose an entire organization on this):
http://arstechnica.com/telecom/news/2009/03/zer01-uses-voip-for-ersatz-unlimited-mobi le-calls-plus-data.ars

http://blog.laptopmag.com/zer01-mobile-ceo-addresses-scam-and-vaporware-allegations (yes, a positive one for you guys)
I've done more than listening to others and definitely done more than listening to the company leadership and leadership in the field pimp this.
I do hope it works out for you guys. Heck, if the quality is as good as Zer01 makes it sound to be, I'd definitely be interested in being a customer (I talk a lot).
But as I've said, after all I've read, and knowing what I know about technology, I'm having a hard time believing it is coming soon.
Couple of years down the road, maybe.
