i am new to internet marketing and was wondering does anyone still recommend holly manns as a good way to learn for a beginner.
i see this is an old post a haven't seen any thing new for holly mann's.

I still recommend Holly's ebook, but I think Wealthy Affiliate is better.

I bought Holly's Honest Riches at the beginning of September after an article I read on Alan Gardyne's site. I havent been disapointed.. still working my way through it.. it is set out logically and is relatively easy for the beginner.. like me!
I bought the Rich Jerk too.. cos it was cheap! Dont know why it was cheap.. maybe because it had been upgraded or because it was out of date/favour? Anyway, I thought it would be useul to compare the two.. have to say Honest Riches is my preference.. because it doesnt have the alpha male thing ofcourse, though that has obviously been one of it's biggest selling pints!
If you go to the RichJerk forum and then go to Holly's HR forum the difference is obvious very quickly! Both have their good points but I feel like 'fresh meat' in RJ forum.. as if there are those there just waiting to pounce onto the newby.. where as HR forum is much more welcoming.. not as busy as this one.. but lots of help and understanding of daft questions!
I have to say I prefer it here if only because there are more online at any given time and therefore more discussions.
Dont know anything about Wealthy Affiliate.. but I am trying to resist going and finding out..! I'm confused enough as it is with all this learning and education!

Holly's book is pretty good. I have it myself. It is worth the purchase price, I felt. I know she is coming out with her latest addition any time which, I'm told, is going to be more all inclusive and helpful to those who need step by step guidance.
I didn't actually make any money using the methods in the edition I purchased last year, but mostly, I think it was my own fault. It was still too advanced for "newbie me."
That's why I opted for SBI which takes you from zero knowledge to a successful site. I think Holly is going to even include SBI as a suggestion in her newest edition for those who need the extra help.

No apologies are necessary! I suppose you can't be as enthusiastic about SBI unless you use it yourself and can appreciate it's value first hand.

SBI stands for Site Build It and it is a program from Sitesell out of Canada. Basically, SBI is an entire package deal for building a web site business from start to finish and everything in between. I could probably rave on about it for several paragraphs (which I have a tendency to do ), but if you click on the bottom link in my sig about building a successful business you can take a free tour.
I guess what I loved most about SBI is that they didn't take for granted that I knew ANYTHING about building an online business. They cover every single base with their written and video tutorials to ensure you reach success (as long as you bring the brains and motivation to do the work).
Have a look and see what you think. If you have any questions, you can ask here or PM me for more details. I'm not a pro by any means, but I am using SBI for both of my sites and loving it.

Does SBI help with building an e-commerce site? I'd like to build a website where I can sell some products for my mom, just some crafty things. I've built simple websites with pages and pictures, but I know nothing about Shopping Carts, etc....

I just checked out Holly Mann's site and I'm really impressed. I think I learned more in 5 minutes than I have in 2 weeks on the interent. She explains things in plain english and assumes you knwo nothing about Internet Marketing (I like that). This was all just on her website, I haven't even bought the eBook yet.
Very impressive!

Yes it is. I've had the Holly Mann program since July or August. It was a fairly quick read and very easy to understand. You get a bunch of bonus ebooks too. She also has a forum.
It's the best newbie program on the net. As such I just signed up as an affiliate. I changed my sig to reflect this.

I bought the Holly Mann book around the time Newbie shield did and since then i think it has been updated further. It goes into a lot of detail and compensates for all types of people for example people on a budget or people. Alongside this i have the profit lance course and both complement each other really well.

Yes, you can definitely build an e-commerce site with SBI. I will PM you a link to better explain it all rather than try to go on about it here since it is a bit off topic.
Again, I agree that Holly's book is very helpful. Basically, it explains how to promote affiliate products through ads, forum posts, news releases, articles, etc. These don't cost money to do so that is the "no start up" bit. If you want to do them with a website (other than a squidoo page or something similar) you are definitely still going to have to put out a little capital for domain, hosting, etc.
Still, for the price - a good book without all the hype.

She is very genuine and I am with her all the way. The gurus of the get rich quick movement need to be put out of business. They only get the noob's hopes too high.

Does anybody know how to ask for refund,i've been waiting for a respond for my link for honest riches e-book for almost 3 days with no result.I was really hoping to read while I have days off.I have e-mailed several times with no respond.I have read mostly good reviews so I wonder if something is wrong.Has anyone purchased in the last couple of days

You usually get the book straight away..maybe unless you paid by echeque which in that case you would have to wait for it to clear until your link is active?

Even though you removed the link, I appreciate you leaving the post intact. If anyone wants to learn more about the Rich Jerk's appeals to sexism, homophobia, and racism you can easily find my Lens and other sources by Googling "rich jerk" followed by any of those words.
I hope that over time, the majority of us who are ethical will not purchase products from marketers who employ hate-speech to sell their wares. So far, Mr. Felix has received both criticism and support from leading Internet marketers. Interestingly, the vast majority of his supporters are straight, white men.
