Has anyone else tried this new action plan?? I bought it last night, and it is really helping me out. Sometimes I feel like I am running around in circles, or that I'm not sure what I should be doing. With being a Bum Marketer, there's constantly articles to write, forums to post in, etc. Sometimes it seems over whelming!
One Week Marketing was developed by a lady named Jennifer Ledbetter. She's been doing affiliate marketing for a couple of years or so, and has gathered up all her education and experiences and put them in this book.
The guide breaks down the 7 days of the week, telling you in detail what you should do each day to be productive. At the end of the week, you will have successfully created a campaign that you can now leave alone, and start on another. The idea is that, after doing this for one year, you will have 52 campaigns bringing in money. This is a great way to reach the goals of making $100, $200, or even $1000 a day.
The guide focuses heavily on Squidoo, which I think was the most beneficial to me. Before getting this plan, I had never attempted to make a Squidoo lens...I was actually a bit intimidated by it. But now, after having the book less than 2 days, I have managed to create 4 lenses.
The author herself does not recommend this product to those who know nothing about Internet marketing. It is more designed for those who have a little experience under their belt, but are still having trouble putting it all together and making sales.
Jennifer gives away a free sample (the first 18 pages) of her product, if anyone is interested.

I'll give it a whirl. Step by step is always good, but honestly article marketing/bum marketing is all pretty simple if you ask me. It takes a little back end work. But once it get's going it usually stays that way. I've been working on a little side deal here and have been focusing on my main website for now, in the meantime I thought I would get some articles and point them to some blogs to later point the blogs to the site...literally over the course of a 3 day span of time traffic to my 3 blogs has jumped up like 400% and clickbank sales are now pooring in.
Newbie Shield if you're out there...that idea...OMG very lucrative

I just signed up for both of your guys' free stuff - I am big on free
When I get a minute I want to look through both programs more thoroughly and see what they are all about but they both look good.
Especially the deal about Squidoo - I need a booster shot to get me moving again with mine!

So - opendomain - did your traffic come from the articles??

Hey Mountain. I would say about 1/3 are coming from 3 different articles and the rest coming straight from google. If you have any questions about the free guide let me know. I tried to keep it pretty simple and basic, but there really is a lot of good information in there that I use or have used (there really are so many ways to market out there that I can't do them all at once.)
After never having liked clickbank I will never doubt it again, lol.
Also the section on article marketing is the EXACT method I've used in my niche to get the good rankings and traffic.

Hi Kecia: Squidoo is a blast, isn't it?
Jen aka Pot Pie Girl is pretty cool. She blogged about my main lens earlier this year and favorited it (not sure if her favorite icon is still there but I think I noticed it the other day). I've seen her on forums and blogs too. She has a charming writing style. I like her.
Mountain: Are you sick? I'd be happy to administer that booster for ya ;) Left cheek or right? :D
Gilster: I knew you'd do well with something you are good at, enjoy, and know a lot about. I'm glad it's working out well for you.
I signed up for your guide to tap your supreme wisdom :) Looking forward to reading it.
By the way, Google Keyword Tool is once again being upgraded through the afternoon today. I wanted to spare everyone some stress if their tools - connected to the Google Tool - seem to be having problems.
They should be done by dinner time if things go smooth but don't bank on it. It may take all day. I've seen it happen more than once. Hopefully we'll see something new and cool after they are done. I haven't looked into exactly what they will be doing.
Happy Holidays for the next several months to all. Geez, Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar...guess all 12 months have some decent holidays. But the big shopping and spending season starts around now. Monetize on the holidays, especially Christmas!

PS. I figured out at least one thing Google improved with their keyword tool. See if you can figure it out and anything else. Then I'll tell you what I noticed :)

Yeah, I am really loving it now that I found out how much fun it is. I have put up 10 lenses in 5 days!
And yeah, Jennifer is really nice and willing to help anyone that has a problem...and OWM is very well written.

Yeah, that was me. Especially after joining this forum...since a lot of people here talk about it. But I just really didn't know how to get started.

Newbie Shield: I signed up for your guide to tap your supreme wisdom Looking forward to reading it. I saw that ...what I didn't like though was that I had literally 50 or so click people who'd signed up that never got anything...did you get a "follow up" I had to manually activate your subscription...not sure I like this. I definately need to look into a different (NOT FREE) auto responder. Sucks because i've used freeautobot for years with no problems until just recently when confirmations stopped goign out.
One thing I really like about google now is that whe I type in a search I get a quicklist of topics with search results....this has made article writting FREAKIN AWESOME because I can now see what people are searching for...like shooting fish in a barrel. lol

I like Squidoo and prefer it to other content sites. However, don't put all of your eggs in one basket here. What is there is a Squidoo Slap? Ouch!

Hemjoe: You'll really enjoy Squidoo and you'll find it useful in more ways than one, I promise. If you need any help, just ask.
Hey, your Black Belt site looks great, how are your projects coming along?
Gil: Yep, I got a couple days of lessons and a couple other emails. Your Open and Honest policy is Newbie Shield Approved ;) I dig it!
Everyone I know seems to be very pleased with AWeber. GetResponse is another one worth looking into as you surely know.
NTC is right, make sure that Squidoo is not your only article writing HQ. It's best to spread your backlinks around the net.
Let me reemphasize the fact that you can make money on Squidoo in three different ways on each lens you create. Additionally, the backlinks pack a pretty good punch.
1. Ad revenue coop income. Higher ranking lenses - within Squidoo - get paid more.
2. Money modules such as Amazon and eBay.
3. Your own affiliate links.
Some lensmasters are breaking $1,000 a month - a nice little bonus to your household income :)

It sounds like a pretty good guide, but I think the amounts that you mentioned above a little unrealistic for most people (e.g. $1,000 a day). However, I have heard of people earning about $2,000 a month from Squidoo, so it can be a huge boost in your paycheck if you know how to use it right, so this guide could be a big help to you if you are just starting out.

Hi Hemjoe,
I understand about heavy loads and long lists of things to get around to some day :)
My projects are coming along well, thanx for asking.

I think that one week marketing is not doing a very good job on the most important part, which is keyword research.
Although the rest of the program is great, if you don't do a good keyword research you will not get any where.
The program is good of any one that know how to research a market and want to promote it, using bum marketing.

It doesn't go into detail about keyword research, but she stresses not to obsess about it.. she says that people can spend days trying to find that perfect keyword with little competition and high search volume.

Exactly. I only spend about 1 hour researching the keywords I use for my articles and lenses.
